Time We Had A Logo

It is time we had a Logo, would anyone like to design one?
Something nice and crisp in B&W cheap and easy to print.
Merely a suggestion, as I expect we are stuffed to the gills
with ace amateur graphics artists and at least one very very nice
professional. Come on now don't be shy.

I think your example is more reminiscent of a group of Eastern European workers on a Lincolnshire fruit farm having a knees up on a Friday night, Rod.

What we need is something that better reflects our typical membership. Something on the lines of:

Well, if you were to tow your sparklingly clean Eriba those 6 miles to the Gloucester meet you might be rewarded with something very much like the one Hob is suggesting.

The Eriba is fine, the Text is a bit heavy and oppressive (in my opinion)
it needs to be light and welcoming, not like the launch of a pocket battleship!
(or U-Boat) I would have put in a smiley but the choice is a bit limited.

I will be around it's not impossible but it's not probable, I am already working on an idea and I would also like to meet a few people as they have helped me in the past

The front of yer average Eriba has a close resemblance to a suitable logo......
A capital E could be fitted around the two front windows a bit like.....E [] I [] A
.....but l don't have the skill to do it!

Obviously this is only my personal opinion, but.......

I think it should be much simpler, with as few words as possible.
It should not be necessary to get right up close to read it.
The 'Friendly Forum' may not be required on a logo!
It should have a simple but recognisable stylised Eriba as the focal point.

As I said, only my personal opinion!
