Got Trolly Dolly booked in with our local service man. He’s going to be underneath, rubbing down the chassis and the box tubing around the edge, checking for rust.
What should I be getting for him to paint them with or would Hammerite be okay?
Can we use a standard wood preservative on the floor, like Cuprinol or similar?

It may be quicker to you use the forum search facility than wait for replies as this has been covered several times.
Somebody will be along eventually and tell you the correct stuff for the floor. Hymer do a spray can that is expensive but goes a long way. Alternatives have been used by some members. I would not use Hammerite on the metalwork as it chips.

John Poptop320 is the man who knows.

Here are a couple of posts he was involved in regarding metal framework.

Waxoyl treatment

Chassis protection.

Underfloor Paint

I'm sure he'll give you good advice Sue.
