I used this relay. Just stuck it next to the existing terminals that the tap wires terminated at.

Hi Ray
I am assuming that you also need to run wiring from the bathroom tap AND the kitchen tap to the ONE relay which actuates the ONE pump in the aquaroll ??

Hi rs540,
Do you remember the specifications for the relay and where you sourced it ?
It was a 12V 30A automotive relay such as this...

I used the 5-pin relay which has a changeover contact as I'd originally thought about adding a beeper if a tap is turned on when the tank is empty although I didn't bother in the end.

It does occur to me that if a Whale submersible pump is installed in the Aquaroll it would effectively make the 2 existing pumps (kitchen and bathroom) redundant.
So both the bathroom and the kitchen taps microswitches would need to be wired into a relay that actuates the new submersible pump in the aquaroll.
And the kitchen and bathroom would share the same water supply but only the tap that is opened would receive the supply.
Am I correct in my thinking so far ?
Anyone know if there is a kit of parts available for this conversion ?

This is my connection.
I've picked up the fused power supply going to the toilet flush pump which passes through the washroom cabinet. Interrupted that with an illuminated switch.
Used the existing wires to the washroom tap and connected as shown. Also ran a lightweight twin cable to the kitchen tap along the same route as the water supply pipe.
Disconnect and make safe the original supply to the kitchen tap.

Something like this for example, note it's for micro switched taps.

Those look just like my installation. Mine, too, goes in through the caravan side wall into the cupboard under the bathroom sink. Going to take some photos later.
I guess an onboard tank is convenient for a weekend away, however you should be draining it before travelling (weight and uneven weight distribution if in a side locker) and you then have to fill it up on site. I know some expensive sites now have taps at each pitch, however that is definitely uncommon in my experience. I did meet someone a while ago who filled their onboard tank by using an Aquaroll to transport their water, then pumping it into their onboard tank...!
One of the reasons for shifting back to Eribas, after two years trying a motorhome, was the utter pain of having to move the entire camper to the nearest tap whilst spending a week or two on site. I got quickly fed up with filling the onboard tank from 5 litre water containers!! And also emptying the waste tank...

Emptying the waste tank isn't too much problem for some MH users. Dump it in the hardstanding or drive off with the drain valve partially open.

Okay so let's see if I understand this fully !
If I use an Aquaroll and a pressure sensitive Whale pump I do NOT need to connect the tap micro switches ??
If that is the case should I still connect a relay into the supply for the Whale pump ?
That would probably make life more straightforward.
