Soaking in bleach is helping it may take a few applications of "Dom" (other products are available, and Aggy does not endorce "Dom") but Mrs Agger has checked and given her seal of approval

I ave checked it again tbis morning and reapplied some Dom but it just does'nt seem to want to budge I am going to try a mild cutting agent on it tomorrow and if that fails then it'll be back to having it covered, which is fine but I'd still like it clean first!

wonder if those lightening magic sponges would work ? advertised on telly
I'll try one It looks embedded in to me and not surface, so it may take a while
Well today I checked having left a thick coating of Dom all over the bathroom floor, I applied it with a green scouring pad as it seemed to leave a nice coating. When I checked, I guess due to the heat (our van sits atop a hardstanding made of council pavers, which in turn is surrounded by gravel) so the heat radiates off it, the Dom had crystallized and dried out, so I "fetched a cloth, Granville" and gave it a good soaking and wioed the floor clean, it has just about removed the marks / staining (and you know I'm fussy) so it will get another going over when it is cooler.
I have still to try a magic eraser but will as soon as I get one
My bits from Jandi should arrive tomorrow so I will be busy

gosh am struggling to see the problem
meant in the nicest possible way
The photo's don't really show it that well but it is shifting now thanks to Dom, it was just an unsightly stain / mark in the plastic which had I of shown people they would probably have thought someone had pi oopsy wee'd on the floor which they hav'nt, so I wanted to remove it

Returned last night from a weekend in the Elsass and upon removing all the vans mats to give them a good shake out guess what we discovered - a yellow stain on the bathroom floor taking up approximately one quarter of the total floor area. Had I not been made aware of this by your post my first thought would have been that it had something to do with the mats backing which, although it is a proper bathroom mat, may have reacted with the plastic floor. However, if this had been the case I would have expected the stain to have been distributed evenly over the entire area covered by the mat and not just a portion of it. Oh well, something else to draw the workshops attention to at the end of the year come annual service time.

It is very annoying but I hope I'm on top of the problem now, I have a proper bathroom mat like you, but I am going to change that nowfor some padded bathroom flooring in an appropriate colour. My existing mat is blue so quite how I ended up with a yellowy stain is beyond me.
Thanks for letting me know as I was beginning to think my TENALAD might have slipped

just wondering if the yellow is an ingredient of the plastic? leeching out
or
I remember a discussion on mouth washes
causing weird things to happen to the eriba washroom sink. (the washroom door was a panel version if memory serves which may help age the eriba) an ingredient of the mouth wash caused the issue, not sure whether yellow staining or melting twas a long time ago.
just wondering if some mouth wash may of accidently spilt on floor? or could it be a manufacturering ingredient in the carpet leeching causing a reaction.
must go and have a look
I have a job to do in kitchen sink drain, for some reason, we have mould in the pipe!! going to block the outlet and pit some bicarb down to soak, not sure bleach is safe to use with the pipes

It could be leeching out maybe even from the underflooring. We very seldom use either sink in the van now, because we are nearly always on CC club sites or private ones, no more wild camping for Mr Agger so mouthwash etc is done in the facilities block.
It's very confusing as a spill of any kind would be immediately obvious due to the cotton mat
We also always empty the cassette daily, and never travel with anything other than about a pint of water and a bit of Dom in, this swills around during transit and keeps the innards nice and clean.
