Hopefully the photo is large enough to be read.
Yup, certainly is.

But it doesn't say shouldn't be allowed to come into contact with, it says don't use on.

Which is different

I reckon it'd be common sense to mask off what was practicable, but I doubt I'd use miles of masking tape and acres of newspaper. For what it's worth, I think a damp dropcloth on the van roof would be okay. Damp to stop it sliding off, that is.

After all, you wouldn't want to be spraying much of anything anywhere if it was even remotely windy anyway.

That's all, really

Yep understand all that and taken on board, I'll do it my way though of course you'd have to mask the underside of the pop top which may be difficult with a damp cloth

I don't follow the spray carefully as anyone who has used the 303 will know it permeates through the fabric on both sides and will run down through it as well, which means you will have damp 303 fabric in contact with your lower pop top seal which in turn contacts the bare fibreglass.

I respect gour views, I'm just pointing out the dangers to potential users, as I say I used 303 and it is brilliant no doubt, it's just the application which is a hassle, I was going to brush ours on and bought 2 large 32oz bottles from Zizi pools. I only used one though so have the other in storage for the next time it requires doing, probably another 10 years away!

its a pain to rub off with a cloth, it got on the kitchen tiles,( mishap with trigger on / off my fault), it is like trying to wipe up oil, ye keep rubbing till all gone. if got on fibre glass may cause a issue before got wiped up.
the do and don't is on the safety sheet

Agger, I'm concerned that your bottle of 303 carries the dire warning "Do not use on artificial suede". How the heck do you suggest that I get a nice finish on my artificial suede Elvis jumpsuit then (I only wear it at slumber parties and mayoral garden parties)?
