Looks good, but don't a lot of sites stipulate breathable groundsheet usage to protect the grass? It would depend where you are planning to go how much you could use it I suppose.

We used a Jolax ground sheet in our Bologna. Heavy duty, breathable and no need to peg down, just fold the corners under to cope with the angles on the front of the awning.

Moroccan matting is lovely underfoot but holds a lot of water if it's wet.

How about a pair of wellingtons?
I don't think spiders can jump as high as wellingtons.
Maybe that's the answer.

Wet Moroccan matting sounds like a portable oasis.
Just needs a couple of inflatable palm trees for the full experience.
Oh, and the tarantelluas as well!.

We don't normally use a groundsheet, preferring to scatter four of these around the awning. http://www.towsure.com/easy-lock-flooring-tiles-black
However, last Autumn, while in Scotland, Mrs R saw a perfectly good roll of this stuff being chucked, probably because it was the end of the previous owner's season and they were too tired and rich to take it home with them. Werbung: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Softex-ecotec-...h-/270937989971
As the current owners, we can't wait to see if it's any good or not

It's good stuff on hard ground but is a worm magnet on grass!

Well I didn't know that !!!
Having appreciated your comment I thought I'd look up the history of the dance and what do you know :- http://www.britannica.com/art/tarantella
The tarantella’s origin is connected with tarantism, a disease or form of hysteria that appeared in Italy in the 15th to the 17th century and that was obscurely associated with the bite of the tarantula spider; victims seemingly were cured by frenzied dancing.

Thats what we have used for years, we find it really good, but need to buy a bigger sheet to cut to fit my new Bologna. Sounds like you got it for a good price!
