Just counting the cost so far, 2 nights hotel and train fares home £1200, just hope we get some of it back,

Poor you, glad you all ok. Hope the insurance companies are being helpful. We know how you feel, we had someone drive into back of us, and we'd only owned our eriba for a couple of hours!!! Wish you both well, and hope things are getting sorted.

Only just seen this. Simon and I are gutted for you but, as others, are very happy that you were uninjured. Metal, plastic, wood etc. can be replaced but you can't. We hope that your insurance deals with the logistics of getting you back on the road with a new van and that your car is repaired as smoothly as possible but accept that it won't make up for all the hard work you have put into your lovely Eriba. I bl**dy hate driving in Italy, they are all crazy drivers! This is a small setback but don't let it spoil your love of travel :)

Sorry other about your situation. Just think of it as an opportunity to look forward and upgrade - hopefully, Although such a shame with all the hassle getting home etc. Glad your not injured and returned safe.

Well after our accident in Italy our van should be with the repairs for assessment by Wed, its being taken to a company called
S & L Automotive Ltd, Unit 7 Drake House Court, Hamilton Road, SUTTON-IN-ASHFIELD. anyone used them or know anything about them?
