Eriba 535
Have a look at www.hymer/en under 'models'. Have they made the wardrobe smaller, I wonder, and put the bigger fridge on that side. And what is included where the fridge is on the 530. It seems to come with an integral gas boiler and on board water tank.
Looks like you lose the shelves in the wardrobe and the wardrobe itself may be narrower. But you gain a bigger fridge and an extra cupboard under the kitchen unit?

From memory a as I cannot get the link to work,
- fridge moved from under cooker = more cupboard space [do you need more?]
- bigger fridge replaces a lot of wardrobe, and runs permanently on 12v via different electrics
- smaller wardrobe that I think is just shelves
- alterations to bathroom, but not sure what
- combined habitation and water heater

Just found another link:- http://www.caravaning.de/bilder/eriba-to...ns-8946306.html

- white over head locker doors
- different fabrics
- bolstered comfort cushions shown [I have this option on current 2017 van]
- grey floor and surfaces?
- extra socket next to work surface flap
- 3 burner hob shown [optional?]

Looks like they've taken out a very useful skinny wardrobe alongside the standard 530 wardrobe. It's about 9" wide by full height and great for shoes, socks and smalls.
If their only intention was to increase the fridge side on the 530 they could have left it under the sink/cooker unit and put a fridge without a large chunk out of the bottom to miss the wheel arch on other models. The wheel arch is forward of the fridge on the 530 and it's so annoying o loose that extra valuable space.

Eat your heart out with Google translate .
Eriba Touring Troll 535, 60 Edition (2018): Autark-Wohnwagen
I followed Eriba Motters' link to www.caravan.de and copied the text into google translate: This is what I got:
Eriba Touring Troll 535, 60 Edition (2018): Self-sufficient caravan
Eriba complements the Touring with a new floor plan with significantly more kitchen space, self-service package and compressor refrigerator. The fridge walks out of the kitchen into the closet. This creates more space in the galley. In addition, Eriba is transforming from absorber to compressor technology as part of this move. Power for the electric compressor is provided by a standard onboard battery, the charger of which is programmed in such a way that it not only charges the battery during the journey, but also directly supplies the refrigerator. Further difference to the 20.690 euro basic model 530 (23.185 euro as jubilee model 60 edition): Instead of the standard heating Truma S 3004 the Troll 535 is heated by a Truma Combi 4 with integrated boiler in the sitting room.
And instead of a wide wardrobe, the 90-liter refrigerator is a narrower, but higher, with integrated lighting. Due to the high-quality on-board technology, the Troll 535 will cost around 2000 euros more than the Troll 530. The longitudinal seat group in the bow, the transverse double bed in the stern and the bath are identical with those of the 530er.

Noticed that on the 535 for sale page on AL, the first line says '90 litre Dometic 3-way fridge'. It may be 90 litres and it may be Dometic but it ain't 3-way. Disappointing that even they can't get the spec right.
And no mention of heating and hot water which is standard.
'Well the rain came, I thought you'd leave
'Cos I knew how much you loved the sun.
But you chose to stay, stay and keep me warm
Through the darkest nights I've ever known'.
We went for the 535 for a number of reasons:
Him indoors wanted a front dinette (as if the whole world didn't know ) but we needed the larger front dinette.
I was sick of having to almost crawl on the floor to get stuff out of the fridge and kitchen cupboards. I am tall and its a long way down! The 535 fridge is bigger but also raised. The kitchen cupboards have pan drawers which offer easier access.
We like the open shelf above the fridge. Can get a small microwave up there out of the way, oscillating fan, along with some of the stuff that currently tends to clutter our van. It also opens the van out - we remove those stupid canvas things from the top of the loo for this reason, to stop it feeling closed in.
We prefer the big double bed of the Triton 420 and the 540 but find it back breaking to put it out/away. The bed of the 535 is smaller but its easier to put out and away. If you use singles it's no problem but we don't.
Another bonus of the 535 is that we can still use our Triton Unico Verona awning, as the door on the 535 is in the same place as the Triton. So it should fit but just wont go to the front of the van. Thats a big plus as we only bought the awning 2 years ago.
It's all a compromise really. Different things will be important to different people.
Edited to add - it may not be clear on the net links which tend to show the fixed bed option, but you can have fixed bed or rear dinette bed. We've gone for the rear dinette bed.

You've summed it up, Blue Yonder, 'It's all a compromise really. Different things will be important to different people!' We have been very happy with our 530 but are switching to a 540 as we hope the long beds will be easier for himself and his lessening mobility to cope with. It'll be worth it if it keeps us Eriba-ing!! (I'm going to miss the useful shelves in the wardrobe for shoes!!).
Are the 535 wardrobe shelves removable, so you can use it as hanging space?
