Had a brush with a lampost! My fault, too sharp a bend! Result nearside mudguard ripped off 6 pieces. When I realised how much a replacement was (3 figures!!) I went back and collected all the broken parts. With super glue and a hot soldering iron I managed, jig saw style, to get it together. A little bit of filler and patience it was back to it’s original shape. Now some rubbing down and more patience it was ready for some undercoat. You can buy undercoat and top coat spray from any motor factors so undercoat no problem. Top coat took a little finding so if any of you need to ‘touch up’ I’ve found Holts spray cans no HGREY03 to be an acceptable match. Price of new nearly £200.00 price of repair £30.00 and some labour!! I’m pleased with repair but furious that it happened. That’s life, I guess, s##t happens
