To day we received news of a recall for the Troll from Lawdhams Hymer/Eriba body window leaking 015-033-1001–F17

Has anyone else had one.

In the course of continuous monitoring Hymer have established that following problem may occur in some vehicles of the above identified model.

Possible leaks on all body windows

I must say we haven’t noticed any

What year is your Eriba Harry?

I bought a 2015 Familia from Lowdhams, I have just came back today from a service with no mention of a window leaking problem?

I have also had one for my Feb 2017 Triton 430.
30.03.2019 is the completion date for the recall, so I am going to try and have mine done at 2019 service in Feb. Not sure how long the job will take.

No problems [that I am aware of]. This is also the first van that I have owned that has spent a winter in my ownership outside, ie not in a garage.

Is this a 2017 build problem do you know? Do you know what to look for and what the fix is?

Odd, I don't think the windows have been changed at all recently.

It could be a rare window manufacturing fault or faulty installation. Seems strange that it appears to refer to both Tourings and WWB Eribas.

There's also the possibility that Hymer haven't been specific enough in their recall notice and it doesn't affect Tourings at all or that someone at Lowdhams has overreacted and it wasn't meant for Tourings. It seems that AL haven't reacted yet and they sell many more new Tourings than Lowdhams.

Received the same recall...very timely as we noticed a window leak during a recent camping trip when we had the awning fixed to the opposite side, hence the window usually protected ( on the door side) was exposed. Lowdhams have ordered the spare parts to fix the problem. Hopefully this time the repair will work.IMG_1352.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

I noticed what looked like a drip trail at the handover, then had Lowdhams out to fix the front bed and also look at the window leak in April, since then it’s always had an awning fitted, so no leaks... up until last week when we were at a festival.
