]Do your mosquito nets go all the way round? Ours are triangles of mesh held in with Velcro.

Stop showing off just because your van is newer than ours, matie.

Yes, ours has the continuous band of netting that's a bit of a pain as it gets caught up in the roof retaining hooks and needs tucking into the lower alloy channel before the roof is lowered. The weighted hem has a very annoying habit of springing out at the corners as you try to stretch it in place.

Does it replace the mosquito nets, Roger? If so, it would attach to the roof by Velcro.

Yes as far as I can make out, he changes them over, winter to spring.

I'm not showing off. I didn't notice your mosquito nets when we were in your van.

I was too pissed to notice anything.

If I try very hard I can imagine how jolly irritating that would be.

Jolly irritating.

Just a bit of a heads up, if you fancy making one of these blinds Aldi has some insulation wrap which works a treat. It is wide enough to make two.

It goes in the inside, it also keeps the van cool in summer and warm in winter...

Marty Feldman side lights , love it. I washed our hanging net and it shrank slightly, still works well though and looks much cleaner! I have just re read the autoglymming the roof blog/saga.I noticed my roof has the little grey specks on it. When I washed it down last weekend with caravan wash the water got quite creamy wringing out the sponge , as though some of the colour was coming away.It is a year now since I cleaned it with boat grp cleaner that cleaned it up well.
Then I polished it with a polish from the same company. It was clean and looked better but wasn't like the rest of paintwork.
