We had our first outing week before last 1st puck rule keep your head down almost knocked myself out twice. Worst two were in the awning leaving the window fully opened it becomes invisible but when you walk into it . Still really enjoyed the whole experience (except the bangs on the head) struggled with our awning also but got there in a fashion. I think it all makes the holiday we have come up from camping so the puck is luxury to us enjoy.

One thing you didn't say Morphy was how did Mrs Morphy enjoy the experience? We seem to remember that when you were looking to buy the Puck, Mrs Morphy wasn't as enthusiastic as you were?

Thanks……….picked Edna up last Aug..one week later took her to France. On arriving at our destination we noticed the the bathroom sink cracked. Called AL immediately and AL said works would be done under warranty. Held on to Edna for a while longer for further snagging, a few crept out of the woodwork. Took Edna back half way through March regarding all the snags plus entrusting AL to fit MM's and fit external power point. AL although were willing to replace the sink under warranty (Although they claimed they had not had yet authorisation from Hymer to go ahead with the works). On taking Edna back I was informed that they had hardly had any problems with sinks, I suggested that the problem could be to to with the waste attachment (possibly overtightened) being too rigged and not allowing any movement during transit.

Week before Easter I had a call from AL saying all works were completed except the new sink had cracked again…….!!!!

Guess what the sink had cracked due to the waste fitting AL had installed in the first place nothing to do with Hymer.

The saga continues

You appear to be very relaxed and patient about it all. If that was me I'd be fuming
Hope you get Edna back soon and start to enjoy her again.

I am gently simmering !!!!!

I have suggested to AL that a bit of comp would not go a miss "they will see what they can do" I wonder if they are really up to speed with trading law and such a thing as reasonable out of pocket expenses.

Such as:

1 not being able to use Edna as intended on our holiday in France

2 a 1000 mile round trip to drop off Edna and collect her when ready

3 a cancelled holiday over the Easter period (deposit already paid)

4 oh yes and approx 20 hrs driving time (at the rate I charge for my time thats about £****)

Sink another bottle on our behalf

I do wonder and metioned this to Frantone when we met for a meal the other week, that has AL lost the plot by going much bigger in terms of their now large range of models, responsibilty and good old fashioned service and thought, which was never a problem.

Mrs Morphy also had plenty of the Eriba kiss but really enjoyed it so much so we are trying to fit another couple of weekends away before the Eriba meet.
Surprised me how much she enjoyed life in the puck we both slept a lot put that down to A, either being tired B, or suffering from severe concushion .

See. We should have guessed she was a very discerning lady. Don't forget possibility C when at the meet. Totally drunk
