Excited!,
I wanted you lot to be the first to know.......we have just bought our Eriba.
We have been to AL and paid a deposit on a Puck 230 L ......it had only just arrived in their compound a few days ago so it needs approx 14 days for them to service and sort out the small problems ......and then it's ours!
Whoop whoop.
Now hubby is looking into all the important things we now need to do, like insurance and number plates and I am thinking about trivialities like crockery , cushions and bedding!
Any suggestions for things we need to remember will be welcomed.

It is a 2006 .......and photos will be posted when she has been sorted out and in our possession.
Just looking for a venue for our first outing now.
I edited this post as I put the wrong date.
Great idea Frantone, we've booked South Lychett Manor for next weekend when we pick our new Triton up and I'm looking for a big empty car park to use on the sunday to do a bit of reversing practice
Well done to you the new puck owners though, what great timing for the start of the season!
Well we have just got back from there (South Lytchett Manor) having had our Troll serviced at AL.
It is a large commercial site and over this weekend it was packed! However it was very well organised and the facilities are very good. There is even hand cream in dispensers in the washrooms. If you can get a pitch in the 30s it is peaceful and close to the footpath to the nearest pub. You will be given a voucher for a free bottle of wine in the pub, St Peter's Finger.
We had dinner there with Derek and Carole, Hampshireman and it was great to see them and the famous finger or at least the comedy finger bandage!
It was a huge change from the last time we met when he was a battered wreck, more metal, stitching and bandage than body it seemed. Well done Derek.
As for the Eriba service it was all straightforward and a couple of small extra jobs done with minimal fuss. The service guys are good natured and knowledgeable.

We've booked Back of Beyond in the end for this weekend for our pickup, as it seemed more 'ưs' than South Lychett Manor. New owners seem very keen to please. We'll report back as we know lots of you visit AL regularly for servicing etc.
Hi Blueyonder....we popped over to Back of Beyond and met the very friendly new owners and had a coffee over there.
We collect our Puck next weekend, but not taking it anywhere till a few weeks time. We booked into South Lytchett for our first tow on sat 17th may. Anyone else there that weekend? We will be the couple who don't know anything.....we will probably take all day trying to do the awning!
Good luck tomorrow with your collection what time?
Thoroughly recommend back of beyond very peaceful
While at AL can you give them a swift kick and ask them how much longer they are going to be hanging onto our beloved Edna!!!
It she is ready for next weekend we may see you there
