Some newbie questions..

Hello everybody.
Today I finally signed the contract for our 530 -18. It is only 9 days and 59 minutes until I can fetch it. But I'm not in a rush..
I do have some practical things I would like to ask you.
230v outlets inside. There are only 3 (one on the wardrobe, one in the kitchen and one in the seating area) how do you fix that? Where have you put some extra outlets? Thankful for all ideas.
Truma 3004 heater. I have ordered an Ultraheat to be mounted. Where should they put the control? Standard seems to be in the wardrobe wall facing the bed. Is that working good? Any good ideas of other places to put it?
Thankful for pictures on both the solutions.
now it is only 9 days and 46 minutes left

I just changed my single mains socket to the fridge side (mine is a Triton 420) to a double. AL didn't think they could get mains sockets separately so eventually went for a CBE socket with a double frame. This turned out to be identical to the existing single socket and probably a lot cheaper than one supplied by Hymer.
A lot of caravan / camper conversion companies stock these. Such as https://clearcutconversions.co.uk/produc...-socket-square/ . You can also get continental sockets if you are not in the UK. Note that a double socket is 2 singles in a double frame.
My 420 is fitted with plug in connectors for the mains sockets. As there was a spare outlet under the fridge worktop, it was simply a case of cutting a larger hole for the pair of sockets and plugging in the new ones. the connectors are Wago 771 midi.
I found the connectors a bit hard to source in the UK. I ended up buying a couple from a German site, https://www.reichelt.com/gb/en/de/en/win...232923.html?r=1
If you don't have a spare connection you can get a piggyback connector, something like this but check you have the right one;

You could of course splice in a junction box onto an existing cable and run a line straight to the new socket, but the above solution is like an original fitting.

My Familia has only three sockets, we just use two short extension cables, the kitchen one is a double and the one on the fridge has four with a surge protector...
When I go on holiday I like to pop my top!

I use one of these. You still have use of the socket but can charge two devices at the same time.
I hope your wait isn’t too unbearable!

Karisman,
I'm not sure if this is of any use but it mentions some of the electrical bits I did to our Triton. 2017 Triton 430 - extras and modifications

Kam's image of the 13amp socket plus 2 USB connections took my fancy. A bit of digging has shown it is a "Belkin Computing SurgeCube Surge Protector BSV103AF" and is widely available for around £18
