I use a Specialised cover, it is now 8 years old. If your going to order a bespoke cover such as Protec or specialised don't delay as at this time of the year they are very busy and it may not be ready until next spring.

At the end of the day looks like the decision you have to make is fork out a lot of money to one of the long established professionals, probably waiting until well into winter for it to arrive, or pay a third to the likes of Kampa who now make a tailor made cover and get it next week. When you read the specification I know which route I would take. https://www.kampa.co.uk/accessory/eriba-touring-covers

Decisions decisions, I read on line some reviews on protec which were very polarised. Total opposite opinions, makes it very hard to make a decision. You want to save money and there’s so many bits & pieces you need for caravan holidays to make it nice and everything costs but Eriba’s cost a fortune and you want to look after your investment + the time to clean and polish. The kampa ones appear to be cheaper, are they more baggy, less tailored more liable to rub? Or of course there’s both the protec & specialised ones. I haven’t a clue with such polarised opinions on online reviews

For pictures of the loose fitting generic Kampa cover see here Kampa Prestige [generic] Caravan Cover
If you use the integral straps correctly along with a couple of extra 2 or 3m straps you can get a good, no snag fit.
During building work when the van was stored outside I experienced no rubbing. Where we live in Formby between Liverpool and Southport we are less than 1/2 mile from the sea and regularly experience 40/50 mph winds.

Protec Cover 2011 and same cover 2019. Please note door position is for a 530. It's different for a 540 and other longsleepers. I think there is only one door position on the Triton. Familia, Puck L and Puck however.

Amendment. See post #38 where Marmite states that the Triton 418 has a slightly different door position to the rest of the Triton range.

I read somewhere that one should ignore the 5 star and the 1 star reviews - just consider the 2,3,4 star reviews?

At the time we bought ours," I think I'm right in saying" that Protec were the only ones doing Eriba Touring Covers. They were quite a small company and were featured on aTV program (can't remember which).

Specalised Covers then came along ( a far bigger company) and Kampa have only been making covers for Eribas for about two years or so. Can someone confirm the bit about Specalised Covers?

Specialised covers for Eribas were initially only available via Leisure vehicles in cheshire, LV would provide the dimensions to SC for the Eriba range. I bought my Puck cover from LV in 2010. When I bought my 2012 Familia Specialised did not have the pattern for the tall Eribas so I had to provide all the measurements to LV so that it could be made. Specialised now sell them directly.
