we live in south wales by an estuary facing prevailing salty wind.our van is parked by some very large trees, and very long heavy leaf falls.without the protec cover it would take a week to clean in the spring.so this protection is worth its cost.(WE INHERITED THE COVER)

I have a new Automotive Leisure cover (still in its packaging after over a year!) - the breathable, 'improved' version.. The problem is that my Eriba lives on a storage yard and I haven't had a chance to cover it yet because it hasn't been clean and dry when I'e been there.
Is it alright to cover a caravan which isn't completely dry?

You would probably be ok if you could leather off your Eriba first and maybe give the windows a rinse off to avoid them being scuffed. You wouldn't want to be leaving pools of water on the roof though. trapping any significant amounts of water under the cover would be asking for trouble.

Just fitted a Kampa cover and are very pleased with the fit. A bargain at £120!

We had a baggy generic cover for Marmite 1 bought in 2007 and handed on to her new owners this year - it still had a winter left in it - just about . Cost us about £65 and was big enough to cover the tyres and the whole of the front fairing and hitch. Easier to put on than the tailored cover we got with Marmite Too. A bit Norah-ish but couldn't complain about value for money

Re Post 22 Randa
The Triton 418 has a different door position to the other Tritons, it's a bit further back towards the wheel
Denise
Hi Denise. Sorry but I don't know how I missed this post when you added it.
That's interesting although I can't see whythe door needs to displaced. Can you remember the sort of dimension we're talking about?

Well done that Lady.
Thanks Denise. Of course, you're correct about the Triton 418 door position. It's because the 418 with no toilet, has a double dinette, front and rear.
