I always try to park my car away from other vehicles, particularly at supermarkets, to avoid damaged panels due to other people's carelessness. As often as not when I return to it some prat has selected the space next to me out of all those available leaving barely enough room for me to open my door.
Perhaps it's herd instinct? Many motorhome users do tend to exhibit a bovine mentality.

If you have a fiat 500, it comes with the car ! I parked in a space with no one near me for at least 10 spaces either side. When I came back I was flanked by 4 Fiat 500's ..2 on either side ! I can park in an empty car park and come back to find another 500 beside me...They must get lonely when left alone :)

A few years ago in Spain we were the only ones on a large wooded site with over a 100 pitches available when, yes another Brit parks right next to us, next day another Brit parked the other side of us. I wouldn't have minded so much but neither of them even spoke to us.

Last year the same thing happened to us. What ticked me off most was the prats sat BEHIND their van so not only did they spoil our stay, they didn't even look at it!

Due to a medical condition, I have just had category C1, C1e, D1 & D1e removed from my driving licence. Effectively that means l am not allowed to drive a +3500kg motorhome like this. I have to say this is the best thing that's ever happened to me ;) Hate those things.
