Where to put external socket on puck?

I have just got my 1995 puck and I want to fit a external power socket. Where is a good place?

I was thinking either front corner or just aft of the table bracket under the seat.

Also, is there a frame diagram of where not to cut/drill?

Thanks for any advice.

Welcome Paul. Another alternative is fitting the socket under the van. This is easier and just as useful. Have a look here, picture 6. 2017 Triton 430 - extras and modifications I sourced mine from Screwfix, I think, although similar grades are commonly available form the likes of Toolstation etc.

Or of course you could get a splitter and a camping fused bank of sockets.
That's the way we went as we already had the camping sockets.

A splitter Werbung: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mains-2-Way-C...MhoCGV8QAvD_BwE is placed in line with your EHU cable and you'll need another short piece of cable from splitter to van. The splitter can then sit under the van to protect against the weather.

A camping fused bank https://www.amazon.co.uk/Maypole-MP3765-...9029284&sr=8-19 is plugged into the third socket of the splitter and again the fused bank can be put under the van.

My old 1994 Puck had an external 240v socket. It is under the white flap

There is no frame diagram as such, but as one who has modified his Puck, you need a strong magnet to find the framework. Look at the van logically and there are pictures on eribafolk.com to look at as well. I fitted 3 external locker doors and only had one mishap, I cut a rear light cable as it went diagonally.
