I needn't have worried about pitching at Rowntree CC, they had a couple of pitches where I could go nose in or out, I'm sat here with my nose out watching the world go by with a cup of tea. ....

When I spoke to Bev from Riverside Park today to book for April meet, she asked me to confirm that all Eriba vans have the door on the wrong side, which I was happy to do.

It's not on the wrong side - it's on the right side!!

It's the same as discriminating against those of us with a preference for using our left hand, rather than our right. I tell people I am 'correct handed' rather than left handed.

The motto of Norfolk is " du different ". We who were born there are used to being on the opposite side of life to the rest of you.

I absolutely love it when the cc police tell me which way round to pitch.

Its an old thread but the same story, a year later we have just come back from York Rowntree CC, as soon as we got to the gate and before I could say anything the warden just said, "Continental van nose in to the peg"....
There was two other eribas and a hobby all nose in, I'm lucky that I have a motor mover but I could imagine if you have a big Hobby without a motor mover its going to be very difficult.

Other than that it was a nice break and a well kept site.

We stayed at a lovely CC site over Easter (not going to say which one, in case the wardens get into trouble), but when I asked about nose-in they said they weren't fussed either way, as long as we maintained a safe distance from the next pitch.

At Whitsun we stayed on a non-CC site, equally laid-back. Here I chose to park nose-in, because otherwise our door would have given onto a blank brick wall instead of an open field. And, of course, it gave me an opportunity to show off Morrison's pirouette capability with the motor mover , a performance that drew cheers from the campers opposite!

What's this 'enjoyed' your summer? There's a lot of it to go yet. (I hope!)

I left 2 copies of that in our Troll when we sold it to Bev & Steve (Morphy)

I will quite happily use this as a reason for cancelling my CC membership! Currently says member for 21 years (this time, was a member before but at a different adress and then they would'nt allow transfer!!!!)

I'm busy today but I will get back via this thread and let you know what happens, in the meantime EVERYONE! needs to inundate the CC with a strongly worded email, that is if it matters!!
