Wow!
We regularly walk up the towpath to there!
That launch site is now the rowing club.
An empty space behind our Ford Galaxy.

Just had to share this:-
The original OP says:- "This Vintage RV Built in the 1930's has remained untouched since the 1940's and is believed to be the first of it's kind to travel Great Britain."

Love it. Any takers on who were the makers?

Think I've just answered my own question.
Pontiac's Powerful "Chief" Motif
In 1926, General Motors introduced a modestly-priced car line produced in Pontiac, Michigan (so named after a famous Ottawa chief).
So, it's no surprise that throughout the 1930s, '40s and '50s, car hoods would be adorned with sleek variations of a "chief" with head-dress motif.
Another identifying ornamental feature of Pontiacs were their "Silver Streaks"—one or more narrow strips of stainless steel which extended from the grille down the center of the hood.
From that information I got to this:-

Interesting line in that report Mrs Dunn "had no children to speak of"
maybe just a couple of odd ones here and there?

I love these old photos. Must be somewhere in the UK because there isn't a foreign car in sight.
Date, I say 1964 onwards because the newest car is the Ford Classic and there's a Ford Corsair near the front. Any other bets or perhaps you know where it is?

Being towed by a mini? Certainly looks like it.
Eriba Troll 540GT (#6) and Galaxy.
Don’t grow up.....it’s a trap!
