Wow, look what I've just found:- http://www.cvpg.co.uk/REG.pdf
We can now trace old number plates eg. I know that Swansea used to be _WN and _CY and it worked (see list in link).
Therefore the Ford Popular van with GBA registration in the foreground is Salford registered.

Really interesting research Ken. So, it's 2 points for Leicester then although the address of the tyre company, 155 Humberstone Road, looks nothing like the photo now.

What it has brought up though, is something I hadn't noticed before. That is, there appears to be a caravan park, a dealership perhaps, just before the tyre company premises. I wonder if our Morris owner has just bought his van? Someone said they thought it was an Eccles Caravan.
We've also got a Lewcos lorry which is probably these people:- https://www.gracesguide.co.uk/London_Ele...e_Co_and_Smiths

We've had thoughts about pushing our Troll into our very narrow attached garage after first cutting a door size hole plus one, into the adjoining wall so that we can access it from one of our living rooms.

GB.jpg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte) UK Campsite. Early 70s? Anybody know where? We used to tow with a big Austin 1800 Land Crab just like the beast in the background.

I don't think that idea of wearing a suit and tie to put up a trailer tent will catch on. Cabanon made an example like the first for many years. Nice lightweight units, fold out floor. Shame the idea seems to have died out.

Does anyone have any ideas where this was taken?
