We had one of those as well, they were great. We still have that old Compass caravan in our barn, and it is as dry as a bone. No problems except, we are in France and we cannot have it registered without paying a fortune. It's now filled with pool deckchairs etc over the Winter. Beryl
Beryl I had a look and found this

Surely if the Compass is being kept in a barn it will be dry, unless the barn has no roof? Put it out in the elements and it might well leak like a kitchen implement for draining stuff.

Lakeland used to do them. Haven't been in one recently to check.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and contributions. I have some ideas from this and an Australian caravan forum, and will look for some thick foam, cut to fit the overhead locker bottom, then cut wine glass shaped holes to mount the glasses. I'll then use a bit of simple padding between the glasses. We'll see how it goes.

Cheap remedy- take one empty pringles tube (other round tubes will do) check that wine glass will slide inside. measure height of glass and mark towards top of tube then cut off the top part. Take the now separated top part and cut about 2cm off the top. make a small slit in the side of the 2cm top slide over the bottom and secure with tape - hey presto a lidded tube for your wine glass. Did this for camping before we got Marmite in 2007 the tubes have had to be replaced but we' re still on the original wine glasses.

We're going Brittany Ferries both ways so could acquire some glasses but should Roger be encouraging petty larceny. If the ferry companies get wind of this all Eriba owners will be tailed by security guards around the ferry for the duration of the trip.
We are going Brittany Ferries in May, so please don't pinch all the glassware , leave some for us !

We use proper wine glasses and keep them in an old Pringles cardboard tube with some pre cut bubble wrap at each end , cut down to make a tight fit,you could also try some good whisky cardboard tubes if your glasses are a little bigger, and need a slightly bigger diameter tube.
