Does anyone have a pic of the newer generation safefill 7.5kg bottle in situ, The reason I'm asking is I'm not sure if there the same diameter as the older version. i have just rung our local fuel/calor station just to enquire if there still liable to be short supply, they say they have just had a delivery but supply is generally not good & calor aren't taking any new contracts on, i take it they mean just exchange/refills only & that's only when they have them. don't understand why!
Just depends how much use i can get this year with covid, work & site availability to justify the cost of a safefill bottle.

Type Safefill into search and you'll find some photos of our setup - 1x Safefill 7.5kg plus 1x 6kg Calorlite backup. Its a snug fit but seems to work ok and the arrangement reduced our nose weight by 20Kg (previously 2xCalor bottles). Note that Safefill also recommend fitting a handwheel pigtail (no need for spanners).

If you use gas like we do I think you are good for about 14 months of non stop camping.

I like it. Do you think they could get a run at it and make the jump to the awning rail?
