Well, you haven't done badly considering where you were last year Also, after all this wonderful weather we been blessed with this year, we are bound to pay for it soon.
Plenty to plan for next year too. As soon as we are home (sometime tomorrow) then it's covers on until next spring.

Thanks Roger and Amanda. We were hoping to cover the van end of Oct after trips but very unsure now. Carole will be reading your thread above when she comes in and is already green as they say. She says there is also a cook called Nathan somewhere down there. Too many???

That'll be Nathan Outlaw at Rock which is just across the estuary. There's a ferry from Padstow or a long drive around.
Just to stimulate Carole's taste buds :-

you've just reminded me need to rub our rear ones down and anti rust with some nice silver paint..

good luck for tomorrow, always amazes me why it takes so long to get the results when they email straight away...
fingers crossed they can fix without too much pain and down time xx

Thanks Martin
Just the scan yesterday with no problems doing it. Wait until 14th Oct for consultant meeting and then hopefully they decide on what to do. XRay s can come through instantly but the CT scans need a lot of work collating the various angle shots taken to see the full aspect of muscles, soft tissue, bone and every thing else that's in there.
Managed a full day yesterday with nice lunch, then talks and rehearsals with the Bournemouth Sympshony Orchestra at the Guildhall in Portsmouth. Then a couple of pints over the road in a Wetherspoons and back in for the full on concert which was superb.

Morning Derek,
Glad to hear you're getting sorted, but it's a pain when these things happen!
Following an accident in October 2013, I had 3 plates and pins fitted to my right ankle. One of the plates snapped in April, so I had them all out, and they fitted an external fixator, which Is still on now.
I asked if I could have the removed plates, but was told no, because they've been in my body.
I've got a CT scan next Tuesday, so am hopeful that they'll take the frame off and I can go into an airboot for a few weeks.

Cheers Mark
