With a heatwave forecast for the next few days spare a thought for the car and Eriba if you are not away in them.

If the van is nearby (on your drive or similar) nip out pop the top open some vents and the odd window or two similar with the car (almost 50 deg c in mine when I opened it just now )


My thermometer outside (in the shade) is showing 30 deg c here in Suffolk at the moment and similar forecast for at least a couple more days.

Also open the door on the greenhouse if you have one ............. roof vents will not cope with the heat build-up in these conditions.

We'll be towing Monday pm when it's going to be even hotter - thought it may help to keep it cool if I open a couple of windows - the front and back seem sensible.
