Apart from the weight I thought it was the width that was a determining factor in the tow vehicle type. This changed a few years back and as such UK legal vans have grown in max width allowable for a non commercial tow vehicle combo.
The discrepancy in this requirement used to be a non UK registered vehicle could tow a wider van than a UK registered vehicle could so long as it was legal in it's home country/country of registration.

PS - whatever the situation you would need something bloody big to tow what is in laymans terms the equivalent of a static van or bungalow on wheels.

Skoda Yeti diesel 2wd _ ex 430, 552, camplet trailer tent, 310, now a nice white 2017 430.

I wonder how much of the interior fit out will migrate across to the smaller models? Although it is all very smart, why have they stuck to a little 2 burner hob.
I don't think you will see many of these on the move though.

It looks good,externally,limited to where you can camp with a twin axle tho,so I think I'll give it a miss! We looked in an airstream at the recent Birmingham show that was £1 less than £100,000 so didn't buy one of those either! Nowt wrong wi Triton420GT!! In a suburb of Cape Town there is a foodie market that has 2 airstreams that have been converted to mobile kitchens.(the food was pretty gud too)All the best for 2019 to everyone.Dave&Flo

I think it looks amazing. I agree it has some design cues taken from Airstream, but they have pulled it off and I think it would sell like hot cakes.
