Oh come on thats easy peasy! Lots of green algae though which is'nt so good, that stuff "creeps" under trim and can expand when wet!!! Seen it quite a few times on older vans (not Eriba's)
Thats also been under cover somewhere but wet has caused the green algae on the front left, so maybe not covered properly / fully? It has quite thick dirt accumulation around the chimney as well, stood still for quite a while I reckon

This is what a proper van looks like! Outside in the cold with no blanky for warmth and I hasten to add NO MOVER to get it there!

What a lovely day it's been woke up to news that a young person lost there life last night close by in a machete attack outside a local pub very sad and thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedy.
Apart from that and various related road closures, I was able to wash, dry and wax the car again, and carry out an internal valet, 3 hours total for that, then I looked at the Eriba and thought it would be rude not to! So it has had it's first wax of the New Year.
We will be using it very soon, things have been on hold due to a very very ill relative, but I think that will soon end.
Took just over 2 hours to wash, dry and wax the Eriba, so well pleased, looking really nice in the winter sun.

Aren't you supposed to polish before waxing? And another thought just crossed my mind - with your DIY skills have you ever thought of building a carport type thing for your dearly beloved to sit under? It would be a shame to have spent nearly every day bar Christmas washing, polishing and waxing only for a once in a hundred year hailstone storm to ruin everything.

Ours does'nt need polishing it was bright sun today and I had to don the Oakleys! No car port or other wussy stuff here, just polish, wax, detergent 3 ton of microfibre cloths and a bucket of elbow grease

Well as it has been another blue sky day here, bright but cold, I decided to clean and check the interior
I laid an old blanket on the hard standing and emptied all the cushions, seats, tables, chairs and other bits & pieces
Then with disposable wipes (£1 shop) I wiped out each cupboard and with the windows open they soon dried out, then I replaced all that I had previously emptied (some of it pot, pan (notice no plural) cups , plates etc needed a freshen up, so I washed those, and then they were replaced. All wood surfaces wiped down with Pledge (other polishes are available).
Checked all the lights inside and confirmed that my 11 year old battery is still charging and holding charge. Car connected and exterior lights checked, then re torqued my nuts, and although they were ok (and because there is a current thread on this) I always carry my torque wrench with the appropriate sockets for my car and van, they will be checked again before we reach 20 miles.
Then as I had time, I thought I'd give the van it's 2nd wash since lay up last November. I don't have a warm coat for or use a heater in our van through the winter months (never have, and I lived in Germany for 17 years, toured Austria, Italy, Switzerland, etc extensively, and just never felt the need. It came up lovely and I even had time to polish and then wax the lower roof (not the pop top).
Last year I switched to using Collinite wax on the roof, I am really pleased with the results as our roof is still looking good! I use Harly wax for the rest of the van and I am pleased with that as well, but I am sure the Collinite is longer lasting so makes sense for the roof.
The van was totally dry and as others have mentioned nothing but a pleasant smell inside, really pleased with today!!

All done except the pop top, and the only reason for that is I have a large step ladder (easel type) and of the hinge bolts has broken so rather than risk an accident at home, I'll get a new bolt and then sort the roof out, although it looks fine after yesterdays wash.
Mrs Agger even bought coffee and biscuits down whilst I was polishing then waxing, so we sat inside with the windows open, lovely if a bit chilly!
Just have tyres to check, pressures and overall condition (new last year)

For those of us less inclined to hard work I'll repeat here what Agger recommended last November:
Zitat von Agger
I use Harly wax, easy on easy off, I get mine from Jonny Woods on Ebay, great service, great guy I also use Collinite which is longer lasting but a real so & so (I cleaned that up quite a lot) to work with, try Harly and get some decent microfibre cloths hth
In fact, Graham, I ran out of time and left the GRP unpolished, only just getting the cover on and the van parked up on its tyre savers by nightfall. So this weekend it's out with the Harly and up with the ladder.
Incidentally, on the same topic, I used Fenwicks cleaner to wash the Triton, and then rinsed with Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler, afterwards leathering off the rinse. I then waxed over the top of that. Was that in the right order, or should I have used the Bobby Dazzler — which their chemist describes as a "hydrophobic" water repellent — as the final application?

Hi Martyn, to be honest I have never used Fenwicks products so can't really comment. Hydrophobic in my mind means water repellant? but then so is wax, and even some polishes have a water repellancy.
From now on I'm going to use Harly on the Eriba below the rain gutter and Collinite on the GRP as I really am pleased with the roof after just a wash (2nd wash as I did one around New Year) but even so it looks really good.
Mrs Agger is out on Thursday with Aggerette Becky and Grandson Jack😎😎😎 so I will be polishing and waxing again!!!

I always wash the 'van with plain water (or rain water) then apply Bobby Dazzler - the only part I polish is the roof - because I have the dimpled van body I don't polish, as my experiments proved that polish was almost impossible to remove from all the valleys in the dimples and eventually became dark and dirty !
I'm lucky that I can keep the van under cover - so this regime may not be typical care for those kept outside !
