Tyres?
Time for me to get new tyres, which I thought would be fairly easy to find, not so?
The ones on there now are Continental 165 R13 91/89R
Which is not an easy size to find the few I have found are described as commercial LT vehicles or light commercial in other words delivery van tyres.
Question is whats on your eriba? preferably Triton tyre sizes?

165 R13 91/89R? That seems an odd size Nev? Look at this Hymer issued Tyre Pressure chart :-
https://files.homepagemodules.de/b614104/...n2_zPTBysJo.jpg
What is the size of your spare? It might still be original.
We have 185/70 R13 86T on our Troll Nev which are as per the original size. Out Troll is max. 1000kg hence the 86T rating.
We went through a similar situation as you this time last year when we needed to change our tyres. Another "Tyresome" Question...
Eventually we decided to stick with the original size. One thing we didn't realise until later however is that although you can shop around for different make tyres with the same tyre size, load and speed ratings, it doesn't mean that the max. tyre pressure ratings are the same.
Originally our van had Dunlop SP's with a 44psi max. tyre pressure rating but the Runway budget tyres that AL fritted only had a rating of 36psi. More by luck than judgement ( because I was unaware of these differences) The budget tyres we purchased last year have a max. pressure rating of 51psi.

That might be worth a look as the service man said it was a 2006 dated one when he serviced the van

Is there a reason why you wouldn't think about getting 'C' marked tyres like these, for instance? Since you're unlikely to be doing sustained speeds in excess of 93mph the speed rating is fine, and a load rating of 94 gives you a total of 1340kg (over both tyres) to play with.
If you come down a bit from what you've got currently on both the load and speed ratings (while keeping well within the minimum requirements) there's a lot more choice in that size.

The C after the 13 means it is designed for commercial vehicles so will take extra weight. Shaun.
When choosing the load rating on caravan tyres, many caravan experts suggest that you shouldn't go with anything stiffer than half the load of the van x 10% as caravan suspension relies on tyre wall flexibility.
Therefore on a 1000 kg van you'd be looking for 500 x 10% = 550. See Tyre Load Index chart below:-

According to the chart, you should be looking at something around 86 or 87.
However the tyre industry recommend that you should only load a tyre up to 90% of the load rating so you're back to square one

( now you see why I stuck to the size that was put on the van at new )

What confused me was there seemed to be a number missing?
Like 165 70 13 or 165 80 13
Normally I just take the car along and show them the wheels and they tell me what they have and I choose a quality option .............. but thats for cars

My gut feeling would be to go a little bit higher than half the load plus 10% and be prudent with the pressures. Super heavy-duty tyres blown up rock-hard isn't very kind on all the fixtures and fittings. These things aren't anywhere near as well put together as your average car.
