Think I'll be skipping it too. The page is now up and running for orders of the sticker to be made from Germany at a whopping price of 29.64 Euros. There is something decidedly wrong here when it appears that the price when ordering within France is only 4 Euros something.

Here's a screen grab of the form (part) that needs to be completed with the price being the same whether one orders from the UK or, in my case, Germany. I think someones taking the proverbial here......

Well the site for ordering the French Environmental Zone sticker is now up and running in English https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ . and for the price of 4.80€ which includes delivery, I've gone ahead and ordered one. At least I've now got piece of mind and considering that these zones are only likely to expand over time I won't have to keep searching for which areas are now being enforced. I can only suggest that the obtaining of such a sticker is perhaps worth considering especially for those that regularly tour in and around France.

We've just applied for ours ( ie. the Royal WE) and having listened to the on-line application being submitted, it sounded like it was far more difficult than the German one.
4 euros 80 paid which is cheaper than the 6 euro German one however.
Anyway, let's see what happens.

Blimey, Roger, what form did you fill in then? The English language version couldn't really be much simpler.
Click on the link https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/ followed by clicking on the 'Applying for your certificate' tab at the top followed by clicking on the Vehicles registered abroad' tab. Finally, agree to the terms and fill in the form a copy of which is below.
You should receive an email which contains the order number and this allows you to track your order. However, if it's anything like mine it doesn't work which I think is as a result of the French system not being able to accommodate entering foreign registration numbers which along with the order number and email address the tracking form requires.
There are, however, two sections of the application form that could perhaps be better described/translated and these I have drawn attention to in the image.

I've just asked the boss what the problem was and it's largely to do with the translation terminology for eg. serial number, make and model etc Our form didn't have the red explanation underneath some of the boxes.
On the German form they just ask for a copy of the Log Book and take all the information off it themselves.
