Just another thought on this subject following more reading. I would recommend those that have ordered these stickers, or are thinking of doing so in the future, to place them into the vehicle glove box and not to attach them to the windscreen until they are actually needed. From what I am reading the adhesive on these stickers is very strong and any attempt to removed the sticker from the windscreen will result in it being torn and rendered useless. This is to prevent reuse following a theft etc. However, should for any reason you are unfortunate enough to suffer from a damaged windscreen requiring it's replacement then another sticker will need to be ordered for the new screen and so I think it pays not to attach the sticker until it's actually required.

Couldn't you stick the sticker to a piece of clear static film and then stick that to the inside of your screen, or is that illegal?

If it isn't, you could remove it and re-use it as often as you wanted.

Clear static window film is just that - clear.

It wouldn't affect the legibility of the sticker at all. Far less than a dirty windscreen would, certainly.

If its anything like the Swiss vignette it cannot be stuck to anything other than the windscreen, removal will destroy the vignette. In the blurb online it does explain how to get another vignette for free if you suffer a damaged windscreen. From what I recall you have to keep the damaged bit of the vignette (presumably attached to a bit of windscreen) and send it in. Mind you the Swiss vignette is 40 swiss francs and another for the caravan.

The Czech Republic one is the same. I've attempted to get it off a few times now (only half hearted attempts so far but it'll have to go as it's out of date.

We had an Email today telling us to expect our CRIT' Air Certificate shortly but it looks like we are only going to get an orange one

We have a green one for Germany.

Randa

UPDATE:- Just checked the Simulation Page https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/simulation and it looks like only electric is green and all diesel cars are orange.

We looked at applying for the certificate but as our car is a company car we do not have a registration certificate. Do we still need the air quality certificate and how long does it take to get as we go firstly in May. Then we get a different company car and go again in June to the Eriba abroad meet.
