In my last job the Maintenance Manager was Richard Bend and his daughter in Accounts was Sally Bend, make of that what you will
I also had to suggest to my daughter that she should give our grandson a middle name when she told us she was naming him William after his great grandfather. Why?
Herr married name is Cooke

Not so daft as it may seem:)
All water, waste or drinking, comes from the same water pipe, so topologically this is exactly the same as any other waste/drinking water supply.
Main difference between waste and drinking water is the need to prevent contamination.
This occurs for one of two reasons:
1) backfeed of water
2) physical dirt or bacteria on the fittings
Backfeed is prevented by non-return valves which the waste water tap seems to have fitted (but not the drinking water) although to be fair its unlikley drinking water backfeed would be from anything else but drinking water
Physical contamination of fittings/connections is provided by having two separate taps, which this has.
So, as I said, nothing wrong with this setup:)

So this is how to get into a real mess with your wife!
I was walking down an aisle in Tesco with my wife when I spotted 10 cans of lager for £10.00. I quickly put them in the trolley but my wife told me to put them back as we couldn’t afford them even tho I protested that it was truly a bargain price.
Down the next aisle my wife spotted some face cream at £20.00!
“What’s that for?”, I asked.
“It makes me look beautiful”, she said.
“So does 10 cans of lager”, I said, “and it’s half the price!”
Oops!

I quite like that last joke and nearly read it out to Mrs C, then a sort of sixth sense made me think. Is this a good idea? …. Spooky …

Using John's post above relating to the BBC and the map of Europe, did anyone else see the documentary on BBC 4 on Wednesday, entitled "Winterwatch 1963: The Big Freeze?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01q9d86
At times it was hilarious to watch Cliff Michelmore indicating on his map the trouble spots, the M1 was blocked and passing his hand from London to Liverpool. Yes, the M1 was only built as far as London > Rugby at that time but Liverpool was a little off course. Later, he indicated the freeze in Birmingham which must have slipped in the ice as it was now near Cheltenham while Brighton ended up in Newbury.
The cold air from Hawaii got the blame and it appeared to have floated north towards Alaska.
Finally it was suggested to us all that the best way to get around was to trade the car in for a snow blower and plough which would cost £7000.

Yes watched and remembered it very well, listening to the 3 ppresenters in their very Beeb accents of the time was difficult and also strange how none of the bad weather seemed to have been reported or happened North of Watford😉
I was 10 at the time living near Sunny Donny and my Dad had just died following an accident at the Pit. A vivid memory of being sent out in the dark to our local corner shop to get something for my Mum which involved crossing our local park field ploughing through snow over my knees, coats over the eiderdown to keep warm in bed and waking up each morning with ice on the inside of the windows.
