Just been out for a morning walk ad I passed a farmer tying a big bell round the neck of a cow. " Why do you put bells on cows"? I said.
He looked at me like a stupid townie and spoke very slowly and carefully . "Because the horns don't work ", he said.

Woodn't work.
I must admit it is exciting , well compared to what I have been up to. I have been so bored that today I sorted through the logs I cut up for the fire last year. I pulled the loose bark off them and tore it up into bark mulch. 3 hrs of joy.
